Traditional Ming Chinese blue and white Jar, with traditional sage motif. Sturdy porcelain jar with robust shoulder region curving into a feminine waist that extends all the way to the bottom forming the raised circular base. Depicted is two elderly sages conversing amongst a garden pathway. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the base left unglazed with grayish creme-brown ground and dark spots of firing marks.


Mark on base, a four underglaze blue seal script -ZhuanShu- characters.
