Description

Large Ombroso vase with large red poppies carved and painted by William Hentschel in 1912. Marks include the Rookwood logo, date, shape 917 A and Mr. Hentschel's incised monogram. There is faint overall crazing, some tiny open bubbles in the glaze and a 1/4 inch color miss on the side. Height is 12 1/8 inches.
