Description
An early 19th century 18ct gold diamond and enamel mourning ring. The old-cut diamond and black enamel shield, with scrolling surround and grooved foliate shoulders, to the black enamel 'In Memory Of' band. Glazed panel to reverse and personal inscription dated 1835. Hallmarks partially indistinct. Ring size L1/2. Weight 2.8gms.
