Includes a large monogrammed John C. Moore for Warrin silver coffee pot of baluster form with bird form spout, floral chasing, bud finial, and wonderful decorative face to handle - stamped, "Warrin, 341 Bway, NY, J.C.M.". Accompanied by a similar monogrammed John C. Moore for Allcock & Allen hot milk or water jug, and covered sugar - hot milk/water stamped, "Allcock & Allen, 341 Bway, New York, J.C.M", and covered sugar stamped, "Allcock & Allen, NY, J.C.M". With a somewhat similar monogrammed John C. Moore designed for Tiffany & Co. teapot, circa 1870-1875, inscribed, "Presented by her Aunt, C. Schermerhorn". Total approx. weight of all items is 126.54 troy oz. Ex-Sotheby's Important Americana January 19-21 1996. With an unrelated large silver-plated serving tray. From a White Plains, NY estate. Dimensions: large coffee pot measures approx. 15" h.
Condition
