BRITISH HISTORICAL METEOROLOGY / JOURNALISM VOLUME, Daniel Defoe, "The Storm: Or, a Collection of the Most Remarkable Casualties and Disasters Which Happen'd in the Late Dreadful Tempest, Both by Sea and Land", 1704, printed for G. Sawbridge, London, presumed first edition, impressed leather boards, ribbed spine with red label having gilt lettering, having fold-out table titled in part "A LIST of such of Her Majesty's Ships, with their Commanders Names, as were cast away by the Violent Storm on Friday Night the 26th of November 1703", modern bookplate to front pastedown. Together with a photocopied facsimile of the volume. Two pieces total.
Very good condition overall, expected wear to boards/spine, including moderate wear along spine joints, corners bumped and fraying, interior very legible, with expected toning, minor foxing and discoloration, some pencil notations to pastedowns/endpapers.
