Description
Native American, Plains Indians, ca. 1950s CE. An attractive pair of beaded deer hide moccasins, lane-stitched with sinew and glass beads, each decorated with tipis (tepees or teepees) of royal blue, cherry red, and sunny yellow hues, those across the vamp rising from a green ground. Additional red banded motifs alternating with tipis encircle the foot. Both moccasins have rawhide soles, upper instep, tongue, and laces. A very nice pair! Size: 9.5" L x 4" W at widest point x 3.5" H (24.1 cm x 10.2 cm x 8.9 cm)
