Description
VICTORIAN PUNCHED BRASS AND JEWELLED HALL LAMP, square form with ovoid, swag, and triangular punches to the brass, various colored jewels creating a sun-motif, one side is a door to access font, cast-metal leveler, brass motor cover with spring-loaded motor, colorless glass font with side-refill feature and period collar. Fitted with a No. 2 "BANNER" slip burner. Late 19th/early 20th century. 11 7/8" H, 9" SQ.
Very good condition overall with one hinge being held together by wire, interior with a few small solder repairs, lacking original door handle, some scattered minor denting. Burner with heavy wear. Font with manufacturing imperfections to the base, as made.
