Description
An 1804 English Creamware Pitcher. One side is transfer decorated with a ship, an eagle under the spout, and a scene of George Washington next to The Colonies. Side of pitcher reads "Peace Commerce and honest Friendship with all nations _ entangling alliances with none Jefferson _ Anno Domin 1804". Together with an English transferware pitcher of Lawrence and Decator from the Battle of 1812 Taller Height: 9"
Condition
The larger pitcher sustains scratches and wear throughout, and cracks to the bottom. The smaller pitcher sustains wear and chipping to the finish, and there is evidence of restoration to the base.
