Description
ASSORTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF 12, including one character/toby jug, one Gaudy Dutch saucer with "Butterfly" design, and one porcelain teabowl and saucer set with strawberry decoration and pink lustre accents. One saucer with brushed numerical mark, one teabowl and saucer set with impressed marks, otherwise unmarked. 19th century. Toby jug 5 7/8" H.
Six pieces with few or minor scattered flakes, small chips, and/or glaze losses; toby jug with several areas of restoration on handle and sides, moderate discoloration, and scattered chips and flakes on rim and foot rim; one teabowl with several hairlines, one chip and scattered flakes on rim, and one chip on foot rim; one saucer with moderate discoloration, areas of glaze flakes and loss, 3" hairline with few short hairlines, and one 1/4" chip on rim; one saucer with one 1/2" hairline, scattered small flakes on rim and foot rim, one 3" chip on foot rim; one saucer with repaired crack/chip and one small chip, scattered lustre loss; one plate with light discoloration, and scattered hairlines and flakes; many pieces with expected scratches from use.
