Description
Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A delicate mold-blown flask, translucent in appearance, with a flat base and a tall cylindrical body. The rounded shoulders taper dramatically to a tubular neck and a thick collared rim, with a pair of wide, applied strap handles joining neck to shoulder. The vessel is a pale green color that glows in the light. A fine example of the sophisticated glass-blowing artistry from the Roman Empire! Size: 2.6" W x 6.7" H (6.6 cm x 17 cm)
