Springfield Armory Model 1819 flintlock musket converted to percussion caps. The .69 caliber barrel has been shorten to 36-3/4†from its original 37-1/2â€, exterior has been worn/rusted away to a brown patina. The bore shows roughness and rust. The right side plate has an Eagle emblem and the initials U.S, Springfield Armory 1819 is vertically stamped behind the hammer. The walnut stock appears to have been shortened and comes with original ram rod having an applied silver eagle to the butt of the stock. No serial number. Antique fire arm with no FFL required. We visually inspect all firearms, but we do not test fire them. All firearms should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing.
