A Captivating Chinese Qianlong Ge porcelain flora-form vase. Large globular body which vaults into a trumpet-shaped opening that is covered in a creme colored glaze. Distinctive Ge crackled glaze also known as jinsitiexian which translates to mean gold floss and iron thread which details the look of several lines that appear in the crackled surface. The color is harmonious, elegant and exquisite. This piece displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior. Amazing crackling effect throughout the underglaze which produces a textured surface.
Mark on base, a six blue underglazed seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
