Stunning Chinese celestial Porcelain vase, with DouCai glaze. A celestial shaped vase, globular body, long tapered neck forming into a slightly flared rim, with a concave footed base. The exterior is adorned with a domineering Fu-dog figures that are pictured dashing through the landscape. The dog is a symbol of future prosperity. Very fine details are still present throughout. DouCai means “colors which fit together which is evident in this harmoniously painted bowl. The underside base left unglazed, reveal pale-creme with burnt grayish-orange spots in the firing.
Mark on base, a six blue underglazed seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
