Description
The 17th-18th century COPY of Erasmus de Rotterdam by Hans Holbein the younger, is 16" x 13" and is in a restored 3" antique silver frame. The painting has been relined, re-stretched and refit in the frame that came with it and is in excellent condition.

Hans Holbein the Younger (c.?1497 – between 7 October and 29 November 1543) was a German and Swiss artist and printmaker who worked in a Northern Renaissance style. He is best known as one of the greatest portraitists of the 16th century. Many people of the Roman Catholic faith immediately recognize who it is when they see it.
