Description
An Egyptian pale blue-green faience ushabti, c. 664 – 332 BC, on integral base, mummiform wearing striated tripartite wig and false beard, arms folded at chest, hands holding a pick and hoe, basket over left shoulder, vertical plinth down back and 'T-Style' column of hieroglyphic text down front of legs. H: 6 ¼ in. (15.8 cm). Light blue color with light surface deposits; lucite base. Ex Washington, D.C. private collection acquired during the early 1990’s.
