Magna Graecia, Pamphylia, Aspendos, ca. 370 to 333 BCE. A silver / AR stater from Aspendos in Pamphylia. OBVERSE: Two wrestlers beginning to grapple with each other. REVERSE: Greek legend behind, slinger striding right, preparing to launch sling-bolt; to right, triskeles to right above dot. SNG Cop 220. Size: 0.8" W (2 cm); total weight: 10.87 grams.

This is a sought-after coin type which depicts two different olympic sports, both wrestling and a slinger discharging his sling.
