Description
A QING DYNASTY STYLE GUAN WARE CRACKLE CELADON GLAZE HU FORM VASE, after the Song (960-1279) dynasty prototype, fondly repeated by Emperor Yongzheng(1723-1735), the rectangular flared rim over a recessed neck, flanked by two integral rectangular handles, above two bands, over a bulbous rectangular body, above a cavetto molded base, on a flared foot, verso a six character underglaze Tongzhi (1862-1874) style mark. Height: 14 1/2" Width: 7 1/2" Depth: 5"
Condition
A chip at one corner, mild surface residue, but overall in good to very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
