Large and impressive French Rococo Revival walnut buffet a deux corps, late 19th century, having an arched bonnet top with a pierced floral 'C' scroll crest, over two glazed doors opening to interior shelves surmounting an arched alcove, and flanked on either side by doors with carved rocaille crests above relief carved musical trophies, opening to interior shelves, surmounting a conforming lower case with four drawers flanking a center drawer, above a central door with a floral panel and musical pendant, topping an arched alcove, flanked by conforming doors with relief carved floral pendants opening to single shelves, the whole resting on dainty cabriole legs ending in escargot feet, 103.5"h x 68"w x 21"d.
