12°, contemporary stiff vellum, pp. [12], 526, [2], [7 folding plates]. The name of the author is derived from Melzi G., Anonime e pseudonime, v. 1 p. 267. Signature: pigreco6 A-Y12, Romanic type
Second revised and enlarged edition, adorned with seven folded engravedplates, including a city map with coat of arms and six views of the Arsenal, Doge's Palace, Zecca, St. Mark's Square , the Rialto Bridge and the Parade of the Bucentaure of 1729.
This description of Venice - whose interest lies, according to Cicogna, in the variety of subjects it addresses - was the subject of a first edition in 1697 and two re-editions increased in 1736 and 1777.
