Description
Black Men Fishing a Tropical River, watercolor on Arches paper, signed lower left, circa 1925, in gold mitered frame, matted and glazed, OS: 29 1/2" x 33 1/2", SS: 19 1/2" x 23 1/2". Fine condition.Based in Eastport, Maine for most of his life, Ennis, who made a great deal of stained glass for the WPA in the 1930s, was also known for his design of Washington Hall, the West Point mess hall.
