Seascape. Watercolor."Lillian Gertrude (Smith) Rockwood, known affectionately as “Miss Lillian,” lived in Auld Lang Syne on Broadway in Sconset during the summer from 1909 to 1930. Like Jane Brewster Reid, Rockwood delighted in painting the houses, lanes, and beaches of Sconset, though she did not limit herself exclusively to the picturesque village on the eastern end of the island.
