Description
Ancient Greece, Athens, ca. 5th to early 4th century BCE. An elegant blackware wine cup (skyphos) of a classic form with very thin walls, a short raised foot, and twin horizontal loop handles, probably used for drinking wine at symposia. Size: 6.1" W x 3.05" H (15.5 cm x 7.7 cm)
