ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE / PRATTWARE CERAMIC FIGURES, LOT OF TWO comprising a man holding a basket and standing on a blue base, and a bird with spread wings, perched on a green base. Both decorated in the round, with underglaze polychrome colors, and open-bottomed. Late 18th century. 3" HOA.
Man with glued repair, areas of restoration, and hairline on base; bird with glued wing, and some chips, and flakes. Both with expected wear to raised areas and other flaws, as made.
Provenance: Property deaccessioned by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, VA. All proceeds to benefit the Collections Acquisition Fund._x000D_
