Ink and color on silk painting of insects and flowers by Xu Ji from the 18th century. It has 2 seals and a description.
Dimensions are: 14 inches tall X 9 3/4 inches wide. With the frame, dimensions are 20 1/4 inches tall X 14 7/8 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: It has age wear and evident repairs.
Provenance: From a Washington D.C estate. The family lived in Shanghai, China during the 1930s and 1940s to work for the Standard Oil Company.
