This lot consists of a hand-stenciled aerosol painting on a reclaimed European construction sign, signed "Banksy" at top. This stark, black-and-white image depicts several military Apache helicopters flying towards the viewer. The lead chopper sports a sweet little bow. Done in the challenging graffiti style of the enigmatic street artist, Banksy (British, 1974-). An iteration of Banksy's well-known image, "Happy Chopper" (2003). Plastic road sign measures approximately 23.5" x 23.5".
