This lot consists of a fine art print on paper, hand signed "M.C. Escher" and numbered "No. 50/200" in graphite at bottom. Image depicts the artist's view of a street puddle, with footprints and tire tracks intersecting the serene pool. Peering into this common little puddle, we see towering treetops and the full moon, ever regal, even in its own reflection. An interesting juxtaposition of urbanity and nature. Done in the studied, Op Art style of M.C. Escher (Dutch, 1898-1972). This unframed piece measures approximately 8.25" x 11.75".
