This lot consists of a hand painted mixed media (crayon and ink) illustration on paper, hand-signed "Andy Warhol" at bottom. The image (done on letterhead bearing the logo of famed New York Nightclub Studio 54) depicts five birds in flight, some bearing flowers. They strike a beautiful chord of colors: golden yellow, mint green, and different shades of blue. Done in the modern, naive style of Pop artist Andy Warhol (American,1928-1987). Piece measures approximately 8.5" x 11.5".
