This little glass knob represents one of the very early American decorative doorknob designs. The brass body and footed shank are taken right from 18th. C doorknobs, and the pressed glass top is an example of how Americans revolutionized the glass industry in the mid-1800s. This little beauty measures 2” x 2”. As found condition with nice old color and no apologies.
