Description
In 1889 the Pioneer Press newspaper company built a (smallish) skyscraper in St. Paul, MN. It included an open interior atrium and a glass elevator. Here is a cast iron door plate and entry knob from that building. The plate measuring 14.25” x 3”and includes a great double P logo extended from the top. Note that the knob is the same design as the Kelp pattern offered in Lot #1. This was a popular design from Y&T and shows up with other plates as well.
