Two-Piece Rococo Revival Parlor Group

comprised of a fine American rosewood barrel-back chair with a deep floral- and cartouche-carved crest, closed arms, bowed seat rail and cabriole legs, h. 37-1/4", together with a Victorian recamier with a high curved back on one end, serpentine seat rail and cabriole legs, h. 34-1/2", w. 64", d. 27", both upholstered in matching blue and ivory brocade with tufted backs.

**Both pieces are in overall good condition.

Legs and arms and back on both are tight. Upholstery is in very good condition with light wear. There is one small stain/smudge on the back of the settee that looks like it should clean out. Settee is dirty.

Armchair: There is a re-glue at a straight lamination seam beneath the carving, with a couple small splices at its ends.
