Description
Ca. 19th century Burmese Daungbaung-kalat or offering vessel. This piece is decorated with traditional Burmese dancers in Shwe Zawa style. The large container stands on three bird legs with a domed lid and pointed top. It would have been used by ladies (this is a female offering vessel) to make offerings at the temple.
