Book Details: This antique portfolio has green cloth covers with stamped gilt lettering to the spine. Published by the Mediaeval Academy of America, this scarce folio plate volume contains loose plates presenting reproductions of medieval manuscripts.
Condition / Notes: This antique portfolio displays some typical indications of age and wear, including mild rubbing, light soiling and very minor loss of material at high points. No title page appears in this book (title is taken from the spine of portfolio). The volume is a non-circulating, ex-library book, and bears traces of removed plate on the verso of front cover and a pocket card is attached to verso of rear cover, and a call number appears at the foot of the spine. The first three plates display minor tears/chipping at edges. This collection lacks plate 132. Plates 24 and 96 lack the upper right corner with numeral.
