Description
Frederick Lueders (1875-1970) hammered brass bookrack with incredibly beautiful repousse Monterey Cypress trees. Lueders was trained by and worked for Elizabeth Burton of Santa Barbara from 1902-1909. He lived and worked as a designer and metalsmith in Pasadena from 1910-1912. Lueders made the lamp in the entrance to The Gamble House in Pasadena. His works are extremely rare. Signed LD for Lueders Design. Excellent original patina. 5″h x 10.25″w x 7″d.
