Four plates from "Allgemeine Naturgeschichte der Fische": plate CCXX "Scarus Cretensis", drawn by Kruger, engraved by Ludewig Schmidt; plate CCXLI "Holocentrus Punctatus", drawn and engraved by F. F. Hennig after Printz Moritz; plate CCLX "Sparus Chlorourus", drawn and engraved by F. F. Hennig; plate CCLXXXV "Labrus Melapterus", drawn and engraved by F. F. Hennig, with inscription in the plate crediting the sponsor of the engraving.
Dimensions: Sights 8 1/2" x 15 1/4", the frames 17" x 23 3/4".

Condition
Toning, some minor creases; overall all appear to be very good. "Labrus" is missing the glass and is not laid down; the others have not been examined out of the frames.
