Description

(LucasFilm, c.1983) An original illustration by renowned film poster artist Roger Kastel for a "Return of the Jedi" concept design. This original artwork was created in pencil and watercolor on art board and features Princess Leia in her metal bikini with Jabba the Hutt looming behind her. Measuring 14"x11", the original artwork is in very fine condition and is signed by Kastel in the lower-right corner. Included with the artwork is a note from Kastel on his personal stationary, which describes the artwork as a "Princess Leia rough sketch of an idea I had" and Kastel further writes that he never created a more finalized version than this original artwork.
