A good example of Bhutanese workmanship, the waisted grip covered with leather, the pommel flared and rectangular. The typical blade straight, broad and single-edged with radiused cutting tip. The wooden scabbard covered in leather with rattan-bound section, the mounts brass and copper with shoulder sling intact. Mid-19th century. Overall length 78 cm. Condition II
