Pair Chinese Qing Dynasty plate. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, of a shallow vessel, broad wide cavetto, with a slightly flared lip and shallow draft. All reserved in famille noir design, a black underglaze base ground color with a green color hand-painting decorated in a huge enormous front facing imperial dragon careening through flaming ruyi clouds with a blazing pearl looms at the center of the moon flask beneath the dragons gaze, enclosed within green color fine ring line conforming the center cavetto. The rounded sides encircled by several flying dragons careening with scrolling flaming ruyi clouds. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.


The under-base bears a reign mark, a vertical six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine rings, Made in The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
