1. John Cheever, The Stories of John Cheever (New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1979), inscribed and signed by the author John Cheever (1912-1982) as "To Tony and Bettie / John Cheever" on the front endpaper. Hardcover later printing. Signature is slightly toned. Scattered foxing to textblock. 6.5" x 9.5".
2. Malcolm Cowley, The Flower and the Leaf: A Contemporary Record of American Writing Since 1941 (New York: Viking Penguin, Inc., 1985), signed by the author Malcolm Cowley (1898-1989) as "Malcolm Cowley" on the half title page. Hardcover first edition. The dust jacket has a few scuffs, else near fine.
3. John Steinbeck, East of Eden (New York: The Viking Press, 1964). Hardcover later printing. Expected wear to the original dust jacket.
4. John Steinbeck, Cannery Row (New York: The Viking Press, 1963). Hardcover, Compass Books later edition. Original dust jacket stained around edges.
