This volume, a complete work on its own,is the first work of Henry's Exposition on the Old and New Testaments. An Exposition of the five books of Moses : Viz. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. Wherein each chapter is summed up in its contents, the sacred text inserted at large in distinct paragraphs ; each paragraph reduced to its proper heads the sense given, and largely illustrated, with practical remarks and observations.
