Van Cleef and Arpels 18k diamond enamel purse.Marked Van Cleef and Arpels Paris and numbered 21938.French hallmarks.From the bank storage vault of the Kuntz Estate in Greenwich Village, NYC.This purse opens up and has diamonds lining the edge, as well as diamonds in initials on the front.This purse contains approximately 220 rose cut diamonds in the edge, and initials and rectangle around the initials.It weighs 87.6 dwts.Circa 1935/1945.3 inches by 2.5 inches(closed).
Condition
Two faint but visible lines in two parts of the black enamel on the left and right sides of the cover indicating restoration to the enamel.
