Vertical chip with small loss to interior edge with a hairline extending up onto lip, another very small interior lip flake, scattered top of rim and outside edge of rim flakes and flecks of which one inch or two long area the width of the narrow gold trim appears to be an old repair or regilding plus some additional minor scattered lip roughness (see detail images). In addition to any item-specific notes preceding this sentence all 16 lots in this collection are understood to be in typical sound estate discovery condition with scattered surface enamel wear commensurate with age and likely some gilt edge (when present) wear commensurate with age and, again, if not noted in a preceding sentence, free of cracks and hairlines and without chips greater than perhaps a few small glaze flecks. All examples can be assumed to potentially have some scattered firing spots typical of most wares of this category.
