Children Dreamers, Four Vintage Portraits
Four vintage gelatin silver prints, 1951-1955, three annotated in pencil verso in an unknown hand, each on gloss photographic paper, three with margins, various sizes, the largest sheet 380 x 305 (15 x 12in) (unframed)
In order of sequence, the child actor Jonathan Ashmore from Sir Carol Reed's film 'A Kid for Two Farthings' featured in the 1955 December Vogue 'Eye View of Christmas Pipe Dreams'; the young infant in a bath was featured in the Vogue Book 'Beauty for a Baby'; the child dressed in a fairy costume was photographed by Parkinson for a 1954 Rolls Royce advertisement.

From the Angela Williams Archive, United Kingdom.
Gifted directly from the artist to Williams, who was an assistant to Norman Parkinson during the time his studio was based in Twickenham, London.
