Acquired from Galerie Michael along w/ a Rembrandt. The subject was depicted in six different prints, three etching and three lithographs. The models are Julie Manet (niece of Eduardo Manet) and her cousin Paulette Gobillard. Renoir was on holidya on the coast of Northern France and Julie Manet was a favorite model for Renoir and on this occassion he drew her on the beach wit her cousin who was adjusting the pin on her large sun hat. Excellent quality etching.
