Description
With descriptive card stating Calcutta c. 1895, parcel gilt silver, the chased repousse sides each decorated with Vaisnavite deities and acanthus motifs, makers mark's name inscribed on foot, Grish, Chunder Dutt was active in the last decade of the nineteenth century, around 1900, the firm changed its name to Grish, Chunder Dutt and Son. The business was based in Bhowanipore Road, near the Kalighat temple.3-3/4"h, 3"h,total weight approx. 7 T.O.
