Two Zuber "El Dorado" Wallpaper Panels
ca. 1937, French, after the 1849 first edition, these two panels adjacent in the scenic vista, both mounted on conservation-grade aluminum for hanging.

Provenance: Private residence, Richmond, Virginia.

Condition
Both panels exhibit areas of browning, scattered surface losses, nicks and scuffs throughout the sky
portions.
Left panel: Minaret with 2" x 1" torn/scuffed area.
Right panel: Upper wall at left edge with 2-1/4" x 3/4" tear with several nearby scuffs.
Scattered areas of craquelure.
All of the above consistent with age and visible in online photo.
Both panels mounted flush on aluminum with hardware attached for hanging.
Not framed.
