Additional Information: This pastel is hand signed by the artist "L. Ury" at the lower right image.
Note: Ury was a master of oil painting, but he greatly enjoyed the pastel technique which allowed him to paint air and light reflections of landscapes in great detail. In 1912-13 the artist departed on a long journey to Holland. The motifs from this period rarely depict the cityscapes he found, but rather landscapes.
Provenance: Private collection, North Carolina, USA
Condition: Good condition. A repair in the upper right image. Minor paper losses at the edges.
