Description

John Jenkins' painted guitar coincides with his "History of Rock and Roll" exhibition at the Bering Art Collective Houston, TX (Oct. 9 - 30) in which he will feature several other painted guitars, with a portion of the proceeds going to Little Kids Rock to help restore and revitalize music programs in our nation's public schools. http://www.john-jenkins.net/ ***Note*** This guitar was painted with acrylic paint and clear-coated to create a one-of-a-kind, playable piece of music/art memorabilia. You are bidding on a one-of-a-kind guitar personally decorated and/or autographed by the artist. This artist-customized guitar is a modified version of the FenderŪ Standard Series StratocasterŪ. It has been modified in that it has no pick guard, in order to maximize the artist's canvas. This guitar is one of 60 ever made by FenderŪ at FenderŪ Ensenada, the FenderŪ Mexico manufacturing facility. 100% of the proceeds go to Little Kids Rock, a nonprofit that restores and revitalizes music programs in underfunded public schools nationwide.
