Description
Super rare and old Estonian anti-Semitic magazine called "Juudid", published in 1923 in its number 1 (4). In Baltic Countries, the anti-Semitic and Jewish pogroms were very common during the 19th century and early 20th century. After the German occupation, Estonia was one of the first lands to be Judenfrei (free of Jews), with the collaboration of the Estonian authorities and police as well as ordinary men. Magazine has many anti-Semitic texts and also cartoons showing the Jews as thieves and pedophiles who are guilty of ruining countries. This number has a cartoon on the front cover of Jews drinking blood during religious ceremonies. Jews are depicted with big noses, ugly faces and thick lips.
