Description
Dimensions: Height: 1.1 inch x Width/Diameter: 5.99 inch x Length/Depth: 5.99 inch. Dimensions in Centimeter: 2.8 cm x 15.2 cm x 15.2 cm. C. 18/19th century. Chinese Qing Dynasty Doucai. The center of the plate is painted with a pattern of blooming flowers in the moonlight in spring, there is also a Chinese character "Chun", five beautiful items painted around(Wubao). The bottom of the plate is also painted with three beautiful items(Sanbao). The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Made in Excellent of Yinsheng(Famous Craftsman Artist) of The Qing Dynasty. Doucai, It is a colored porcelain decoration process combining underglaze blue and white and over-glaze decoration. Created in the Ming Dynasty Xuande years(1426-1435), the Dou Cai during the Ming dynasties Chenghua(1465-1487) was most admired, Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty reached its peak(1661-1799).
