Description
Dimensions: Height: 5.9 inch x Width/Diameter: 5.2 inch. Dimensions in Centimeter: 15 cm x 13.2 cm. The ovoid body rising from a straight foot to rounded shoulders and an inward rim. The periphery decorated with five-clawed dragons striding among auspicious cloud and flames in pursuit of a "flaming pearl". All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt fine blue color. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China's porcelain. It was originated in the Yuan Dynasty. Its color is Bright&strong and does not easily fade ,durability is longer. It used cobaltous oxide as the colorant. Patterns were directly painted onto the inner body and burnt after glaze was applied on it.
